Welcome aboard the Eveready, a 28 ft custom Harbercraft Kingfisher. Made from welded marine-grade aluminum, she’s safe, comfortable, and fast! With Go Fish Charters, access to the best fishing locations in the Salish Sea is only minutes away including Thrasher, The Grande, Waterfall, Entrance Island, Neck point, and Five Fingers. Fully outfitted with the latest Radar, Sonar, GPS, fish finders, VHF radio, top-of-the-line salmon & bottom fishing rods and reels, prawn and crab traps with pullers and a private head (washroom) the Eveready is Coast Guard approved and certified. We can easily & comfortably accommodate 6 guests plus crew.

Come and enjoy a day on the water either salmon fishing, bottom fishing or sightseeing. Salmon fishing is possible 365 days a year although the best times for Chinook salmon run from mid-April through the end of September. Chinook, sometimes known as spring or king salmon, are the largest of the five Pacific salmon species. During summer, Coho, Pink, Chum, and Sockeye can also be caught. Bottom fishing for ling cod and red snapper opens May1 and closes Sept. 30. On most trips, we’ll drop prawn and crab traps just to make sure you get to experience all that a professional fishing charter has to offer in the waters around Gabriola Island and Nanaimol. We will customize your trip, from pick-up anywhere on Gabriola Island, Silva Bay Marina, Page’s Resort and Marina, Nanaimo Harbour, or on any of the Gulf Islands, to gourmet meals, to fishing licences, to cleaning your catch.

How To Book Your Charter

You can book a Full Day or Half Day fishing charter. It’s entirely up to you. Rest assured everything will be looked after! Just bring comfortable clothing, soft soul shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, and any specific personal items you may need.

What Should I Bring?

You may wish to bring a cooler with snacks & drinks. Plus, you can use it to bring your trophies home! Don’t forget to bring your camera and remember: You keep what you catch and don’t worry – we will expertly clean and package your catch!
